Michelle T. Bernard is a freelance writer who breeds and shows American Shorthair cats. She has been keeping her cats healthy using a raw meat diet and homeopathy since 1993.

Michelle is currently working on a book based on her experiences in raising her cats naturally. She writes a quarterly holistic cat care column for The American Connection and a monthly alternative view article at Allpets.com. Since 1998, Michelle has written Natural Rearing Notes, an on-line journal of sorts detailing her experience in raising cats naturally. She also owns the Natural Cat list at Yahoo Groups.
