I’m afraid I got sucked into working on the Spellcast Farm web site. I mucked around with the html code as it was originally drafted, but I couldn’t get it to work correctly so I went to the simple design that I used with the Spellcast Border Collies web site. It’s really the content and readability of the site that matters. I will do a picture logo for the site as soon as I find a suitable photo to use.
I started working on it as soon as I finished yesterday’s post and didn’t lift my head until around 12:30 when my stomach was growling. I took a break to make a sandwich, went out to move the goats into the lower pasture (way late!) and checked on things outside. Mica had been out since 7:00 and amazingly, he had stayed out of trouble. I think he’s finally growing up.
It was so nice and warm outside I lied down on the hill and soaked in some sun for an hour or so. Then came back in and worked on writing the raw milk page. Really only a little bit more to do on the content, a few tweaks here and there and it’s about done.
Needless to say, I didn’t ride Trophy nor did I clean the house. I did get a big pot of chili and a pan of cornbread made. I’ve been making the cornbread half plain (to eat with the chili) and half with berries in it (for breakfast). Wally enjoys berry cornbread for breakfast. It’s a lot easier to make than banana bread.
Well, it’s 5:30 and I’ve already been up for an hour. Need to get out and feed the cats and milk Gwen, hoping that her udder isn’t too disgusting. Oh for access to hot water outside. Maybe one day.
Until later …
