Can I go and crawl under a rock?

Is the current financial news driving you crazy; or alternatively, scaring you to death?  From the Federal Reserve: the US economy isn’t looking so good.  Heck, my economy isn’t looking so good and hasn’t looked so good for a long, long time now *and* there’s no good news in sight.

The job that I applied to on Monday, remember the one on Craigslist which seemed to be so well written that there would be no way that it was a scam.  Well, it was a scam.  These individuals that prey on un- or under-employed individuals ought to be shot.

It will be interesting to see how busy MM has been this week.  Part of me hopes that it’s slow so I don’t have to work so hard, but the other part of me knows that if it is slow, they’ll be cutting hours.  As it is, I’m afraid I’m going to permanently loose one of my five days once the kids go back to school and it really slows down during the day.  I will be glad to get back to my normal schedule.  This work a day, off a day, work a day business has me all out of sorts.

Luckily, Wally’s truck only needed rear brakes.  Yoda goes in tomorrow and hopefully he won’t need any additional work.  Wally and I are very much living paycheck to paycheck and worry about expensive vehicle repairs.  Neither of us has a credit card and we will probably never have credit cards.

At least it’s going to cool down some so maybe I can get in the garden tomorrow.  I want to at least get another bucket of tomatoes picked so I can can them. Hopefully tomorrow will go better than yesterday.

I’ve got nine goats to milk this morning so I had better get going and get it done so I’m not running late for work.  I’d really like to go and crawl under a rock.

Until later …
