I didn’t go to agility class on Saturday. It is approximately 80 miles one way to get to where the classes are held. That didn’t used to bother me, but that was back when gas was $2.99 a gallon. Now that it’s almost $4.00 a gallon, my trips out are few and far between. I didn’t go anywhere on Sunday. I considered going to Wal-Mart and maybe Lowes to pick up some more herbs, but I reasoned I could stop at both Wal-Mart and Lowes on my way home from work on Monday. Why make a special trip? Gas prices are likely not going to come down and unless people make a concerted effort to reduce their gas consumption, they are going to keep going up at alarming rates. Wait until a major hurricane takes out some of the US gas production. Remember what happened after Hurricane Katrina? We thought $3.29 was high for gas; watch it go close to $5.00 if an oil barge is taken out of production due to a hurricane.
There is a lot going on in my life right now, most of it very good, but I feel that I need to focus on me and my home and let lessons and trials sit on the back burner for now. I have to prioritize what is important to me at this point in my life.
The server that hosts my web sites has been experiencing some technical difficulties. Apparently a data center fire that occurred on Saturday. It’s been irritating, to say the least.
