The past few months have been a whirlwind, to say the least. Between the move and a very demanding semester, I’ve been struggling to keep my head above water.
I almost did not return to school this semester and I am glad I did. I have made so much progress. I honestly did not think that I would have been able to pull off an A in Portraiture, but as of now, it is a solid A. I am so proud of the images that I’ve produced, such as these two, which were not for Portraiture, but are portraits:
The assignment was for a high fashion image. I had a good bit of help with the assignment from my instructor (which is her job of course), but I’m still really proud of them. The bunnies were very cooperative!
This one was for an Old Masters assignment in portraiture:
It helps having amazing models!
Then there’s the book I did for Portfolio full of seasonal vegetables which you can see in the previous post.
I am very much looking forward to next semester, however, there’s a chance the Federal agency that is sending me through college may not pay for my last semester which would really suck. You see, I had to start in the spring of 2013, if I had waited until the fall, I would not have got in. The Photography program at CVCC starts in the fall of every year. I took what I could in the spring and then started the photography courses in the fall. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the entire program. Please say a prayer that this comes through for me.
Until later …
