Wally and I eat darned good. Breakfast this morning: lightly cooked duck eggs (from our ducks); sausage patties (from our pigs); sourdough toast (made here!). Awesome! Happy tummy!
In the crockpot: ribs (from our cow); organic pinto beans; Sam Adams beer; BBQ sauce (made here!). Later on I’ll make cornbread using buttermilk (cultured here from Moon’s milk) and Anson Mills cornmeal. Forget the typical Superbowl fare using processed and industrial farmed products. We are eating food we grew or made here.
Good thing we had a good breakfast as we will need the energy to clean out the rest of the rabbit tractors so we can spread it on our newly-tilled garden spot.
