I could go to the building where the cotton gin is every day of the week and find something new to photograph. The gin is a piece of history that will, one day, be gone forever so the more I can document it, the better.

A long time ago now, I desperately wanted to go to an old textile in Asheville. A former photography teacher had access to it. He took a senior class there to do photographs. ┬áHe kept promising he’d get me in there but he never did. I’m so glad that I found the Boggs gin. I’ve been buying feed there for years but never went in the building until now. Look at the treasure trove I found.

Until later …
